It was such a great first year that we went back to work with Harrods for their H Beauty Carnival, but this time it was over 5 cities and over 5 weekends filled with fun and free stuff while taking engagement with the customers to the next level!

Stick-or-Twist Experience: A Novel Offering for Play

This year, we launched the ‘Stick-or-Twist’ experience for the purpose of catering to Harrods’ business Key Performance Indicators. For this game, customers were required to register for the H Beauty loyalty program. After scanning their membership QR code on the Smart Vending Machine, participants were presented with a choice as a beauty product giveaway was generated and shown on screen. Participants could either ‘stick’ to the prize or ‘twist’ to play and win a mystery item. This added more thrill and excitement.

Where We Take This Now: 'The Hub' Where the Machines are Dual

There was a huge success with the Smart Vending Machine in 20202 and to our great excitement, Harrods sought to unbundle this experience while maintaining it fresh. As a solution, we presented a dual machine setup, ‘The Hub’ that includes the latest in experiential marketing technology. The activation was enhanced with this new concept taking it to a different direction, that was focused on active and interactive brand engagement throughout the campaign making it possible for each consumer to be fully engaged with the brand.

Campaign Success and Key Results

The activation was very successful as within the course of the campaign many thousands of new loyalty program sign ups were noted in Harrods. Smart Vending Machine setup together with Stick or Twist concept induced smooth and interactive customer engagement making it possible for a wide level of participation in all the outlets.
