FRIEZE x Matches Fashion: Art Meets Arcade



Matches Fashion turned the FRIEZE London on its head, bringing art and arcade together.

We created two smart claw machines that were designed to capture customer data while being fun and rewarding. We introduced two smart claw machines, loaded with games, goodies and a GDPR-compliant data capture process.




Visitors could interact in a memorable way and alongside the claws, we also had one of our flagship smart vending machines with a custom-built interactive gaming experience. This was designed to delight the guests and distribute prizes making the activation both fun and effective.

Campaign:

The machines were a showstopper at FRIEZE, even with three machines the queue’s where steady throughout the activation. People were queuing to try and win and it created a great buzz. Visitors came to have a go and the smart claws and vending machine were the hub of the event. Art and arcade proved that when it’s art, anything goes!

This activation at FRIEZE London proved the power of the smart claw machines, they deliver fun and effective brand engagement. Driving data-captura and effortlessly drawing footfall. Matches Fashion used this interactive to capture customer data and have a fun and immersive experience that left a lasting impression on everyone who took part.

 
 

Insights:

This shows how smart claw machines can be used as customer engagement and social media marketing tool. In 42 days the machines had thousands of interactions and created a fun and lively atmosphere. The activation also deepened customer relationships, brought them back for repeat business and created some noise both online and offline about the event.
